전쟁터에서 싸워   백만인을 이기기보다  자기 자신을 이기는 사람이  가장 뛰어난 승리자다.

千千爲敵 一夫勝之 未若自勝 爲戰中上
천천위적 일부승지 미약자승 위전중상

 
If a man were to conquer in battle a thousand times a thousand men, and another conquer one, himself, he indeed is the greatest of conquerors.
